Management Control Model and Operating Philosophy

Goals, tasks and responsibilities. HTDS works at realizing and especially controlling these. Each process benefits from optimum clarification of opportunities and threats and from integration of the step-by-step approach.

When starting a project, a Management Control Model is available within an organization for the new working environment. This control model outlines the goals – the ‘project drivers’ – that the organization ultimately aims for with the execution of the project or the intended change process. Specific success factors are established to realize defined goals / ‘project drivers’.

HTDS makes control understandable

Success factors can be established for a wide range of subjects and aspects. On this basis, an action plan can be drawn up describing the steps required for the successful  introduction of the new or redesigned working environment.

To ensure the proper design of a working environment that belongs to the category Critical Human Machine Interfaces (CHMI), it is necessary to define the pertinent operating philosophy.

It must for instance be known:

  • What the various operational scenarios are
  • Which functions/disciplines are involved in these scenarios and how many people are required for each function/discipline
  • How these different parties cooperate
  • How these parties communicate
  • What resources / equipment / hardware / software they require for variousoperational situations or scenarios

HTDS supports your organization not only in refining your Management Control Model by assessing your selected business model together with you, but also in translating a Management Control Model into an operating philosophy. This utilizes a specific format and a structured approach.
